Updates!

With our first week of classes over, all I can say is- WOW! This term has started off well and Im really enjoying getting to know some of my housemates. I am, however, finding myself missing my house elf, Minty. I inhereted Minty from my parents when they inhereted another elf from my grandparents. Minty and I are quite close and I have received an owl from her every day that I've been gone. I have woken up every morning for 3 days now to a still warm ham and cheese omelette and sausage left on my nightstand, and I know my darling Minty has popped in to bring it.

Starting Classes Today!

I am so excited! Today is my first day of classes here at Hogwarts. I am taking Astronomy, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, History of Magic, Potions, and Transfiguration. Our professor for DADA this year is Professor Cornelius Lufkin. I think Im most anxious to start Charms, although I've always been very interested in Astronomy!!! My sweet little owl, Elvis, brought me a letter from home today, as well as some lovely yarn to do some knitting between classes! Well, off to Potions!

My owl has arrived!!!!

I finally recieved my long awaited owl carrying the news of my swap partner!! I will get the pleasure of spoiling a Hufflepuff named Selene Beauxbaton! I will be spoiled by a Slytherin named Matilda Edgecombe. I am sooo excited for the term and to get to know my fellow Hogwarts classmates! ROAR ROAR GRRRRRYFFINDOR!!!!

I've bought my first wand!

I've just returned from Diagon Alley after a lovely visit with Mum and Dad at the Leaky Cauldron! They wanted to celebrate my being sorted into Gryffindor by buying me a nice butterbear! While there, I bought my very first want from Ollivander!!!
